Educational methods are the ways the knowledge is imparted in different individuals.  It is also important as the way an individual learns about different things, depends on how good or how bad the educational methods were used.

Different styles of Educational Methods

So the different styles of educational methods include teaching, storytelling, discussion, experimentation and research. These might seem like common methods but are extremely effective when educating an individual or even a group of individuals. The first teaching is one of the most common and known styles of educational methods. In this, the instructor simple explains the different phenomena’s through the help of a blackboard or other material which could help in imparting the knowledge to their students. Teaching in today’s time has evolved in different ways like teaching digitally which can be done through a digital device and internet; the student and teacher are easily connected.  The other kind is where the teacher is physically present in the same room as the student. In today’s time, digital teaching also seems to gain popularity. Storytelling is another style where a topic is narrated in the form of a story and there are many times when this style is effective in conveying a lesson based message.

Amongst the other style is experimentation. This style is usually applied in the field of sciences, medical and engineering.  These subjects involve theory but through experimentation, it helps in a better understanding of the concepts by the students and is one of the famous styles. Moreover, the discussion is also a style used by instructors. A discussion helps students say their thoughts out loud in front of everyone and helps in clearing out all the ambiguities that there are.  Lastly, another notable style used in the advanced years of formal education is research. Research is the study and exploration of a topic. This style of the educational method requires the reading of the work of different researches that might have work on the same or similar topic and it aids in a better understanding of the topic which is being researched.
